Cross border permit for EU / EFTA nationals (without UK) Conditions: • Existence of a local employment relationship between the Swiss branch and the employee • Return to the foreign principal place of residence at least once a week-Weekly stay possible • Registration with the residents' registration office/district office-No border zones (since 2007) • In principle, no control over compliance with local and industryspecific wage and labor market conditions Sample A German national is employed locally as an IT specialist on a permanent contract by IT AG in Basel.
