At the same time, border controls on air and sea traffic between Bulgaria, Romania and other countries in the Schengen area will be abolished, making air and sea traffic easier and faster, as the travelers concerned will no longer have to be checked at the borders. For the time being, however, border controls on land travel between Bulgaria or Romania and other countries in the Schengen area will remain in place.
